It seems wonderful so far. Battery says it still got 5 hours on 60% left, i7, 16GB RAM, weighs 3.6 pounds, matte 1920x1080 14" display, 240GB Intel SSD, 4xUSB 3.0 ports, has an eraser head, is sturdy, and a 1GB dedicated gfx card. :D
It's essentially an HP Elitebook, one of their business machines.
Thanks all for your suggestions. I did look at each of the suggestions y'all had for me.

14" display? I couldn't use a computer that size as a DD, need bigger screens for CAD.
Congrats on the purchase, take the few minutes to keep the keyboard and all vents clean and you'll have a great machine for a long time.

Ultrabook are really awesome machines. I recently bought a Asus Zenbook (i7/8Gb Ram/750 Go HDD + 16 Go SSD/GT730M) in 13 inches and it's really nice to use. Way better than my Macbook Pro was.
The only problem I have is a problem that a lot of Asus computers seem to have, dead pixels, and the computers isn't even 3-months old... Most of the time I use it hooked up to my 2-external displays but still, kinda annoying.

Yep. From what I read it is a reccurent problem on this model... on a 1200€ computer, it shouldn't happen.
I'm in contact with Asus support right now, but since I use my computer daily for my internship, I can't really afford to send it back to get fixed. If I don't reach an understanding with Asus, I'll try to contact Amazon where I bought it.
Other than that, the computer is wonderful to use, nice battery life and good performance when you need it. I can even play Grid Autosport in high. Well I could, now I can't since I upgraded the graphic card drivers..... Stupid nVidia...

You can always unisntall the NVIDIA drivers and download the original driver from Asus's site.
